For North Carolina Voice Actors

My friend Bob Souer has a post on his blog today talking about a fantastic get-together we are having in June!

If you are a voice actor or voice talent of any level, and live in the Carolinas...we would love to see you there!

It will begin June 23rd at the Village Tavern restaraunt at 11am in Winston-Salem, NC. Afterward, we will go bowling (where you will learn why I once won a bowling trophy for the best golf score)! It will be a chance to meet new people, and visit with old friends.

For this get-together, it is VO people only, no family or friends please. If you plan to attend, please e-mail our friend Donovan Corneetz at:

It will be a great day- I hope to see you there!

OK, we NEED to have an industry wide discussion of why bowling seems to be creeping in as the sport of choice for voice talent.

* Is it because its inexpensive and we VO's don't make enough money to play shuffleboard (On a luxury cruise ship of course)?
* Is it the free shoes that are so darn stylish?
* Is it the polyester bowling shirts?

I'm at a loss to explain the bowling fascination not only because I'm not a successful kegler (huh, huh, didn't think I knew the lingo did ya?) but because I think I'd rather be on a cruise ship playing shuffle board!! ;)

Best always,
